The DUKE!

Since I have received several emails regarding this topic, I thought I would share my R&D info with you.
The Supermoto fender will bolt right up to the Duke. It is a standard KTM Supermoto fender. Available from any dealer. Part number:
Black- 5030801020030
Orange- 5030801020004
You will need two 6 x 1.0 x 95mm bolts and two 25mm spacers. Remove the stock fender and light cowling. Remove the two bolts on the bottom of the triple clamp that hold on the headlight cowl bracket. Take the two steel bushings and rubber grommets that held on the original Duke fender and place them in the back two holes of the new Supemoto fender. Place the 25mm spacers in between the fender and triple clamp. Then pass the 95mm bolts through the fender, spacers, bracket, triple clamp and thread them back into their original position.
The Duke will now look like a real Supermoto and the funky headlight cowling won't look so out of place. I also fabbed up some temporary fork guards so the tubes won't get pitted.

Oh, and here' s the new Braking rotors and pads installed:

The fork guards are a standard KTM item, part number: 59001092100 & 59001093100.
To mount the lower fork guards you'll need to fab up some brackets out of aluminum 1" angle stock. Cut an 1 1/2" piece of right angle aluminum stock and drill two holes in it and bolt it to where the original Duke fender was mounted on the fork stantions. With the other side of the aluminum bracket facing forward, drill and tap two holes in it for the fork guard to mount. I used the stock aluminum bushings from the D2 fender and four short 6x1.0mm bolts. You will need to trim the fork guards to the appropriate length.
